Central California Canoe Club (C4) is affiliated with the American Canoe Association is geared primarily for canoeists, but will not limit its membership to only canoeists. C4 seeks to promote all types of canoeing. The club offers clinics and a variety of paddling trips ranging from flat water to Class III. Become a member and go on trips for fun and to improve your skills.

CDEC provides a centralized location to store and process real-time hydrologic information gathered by various cooperators throughout the State. CDEC then disseminates this information to the cooperators, public and private agencies, and news media.

Newsletter of the California Floaters Society (CFS). A non-profit organization dedicating to networking paddle craft and river enthusiasts of all types and skill levels everywhere.
Sequoia Paddling Club This is a Bay Area paddling club. It is a section of the Redwood Chapter of the Sierra Club and an affiliate of the ACA, American Rivers, American Whitewater Affiliation, Friends of the River, Friends of the Russian River, and National Organization for River Sports. The Sequoia Paddling Club hosts bimonthly program meetings in Santa Rosa and publishes "Flotsam and Jetsam", a bimonthly newsletter. They offer trips and varous other boating activities.

California Canoe and Kayak is not only a retail store. CCK also teaches canoeing and kayaking. They carry virtually all gear used in the canoe and kayak sport, including canoes and kayaks.
